This place was awesome. I have had prp treatment before but NWRM really pulled out all the stops for me. I had both the PRP and the stem cell treatment. Thank you so much for getting my shoulder back in shape! I would recommend 10/10.

After 42 years of handball and hiking I was lined up for a partial knee replacement. I discovered the Regenexx process available thru the NW Center for Regenerative Medicine in Spokane, WA and I researched it and decided it was worth the effort to go thru. I am 2 months out from the procedure and I am no longer having sharp knee pain. I am still playing handball without the discomfort I was experiencing and my back country hiking continues without issues. I am super happy to have avoided the knee replacement and grateful to be fully active. Thanks for all the help Dr Lewis!

Dr Lewis and all of the staff are true professionals. My 89 year old dad has had stem cell injections in his right knee and results seem to be very promising

I had been dealing with pain on both knees for years, and I was headed down the path of complete knee replacements. A fun round of golf was always inevitably followed by a painful couple of days of hobbling around and chewing ibuprofen. I'm thrilled that I decided to give the Stem Cell and PRP procedures a try. Simply put, I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Lewis and his team for the incredible care I received throughout my procedures and recovery. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel comfortable and confident about the process. And they are all so friendly and helpful! Recovery was a breeze - especially compared to the painful recovery and PT that follows a complete knee replacement. And I couldn't be happier with the results. I can now go for decent walks and play a round of golf without the excruciating pain. If you are contemplating these types of surgeries, you owe it to yourself to check out the Regenexx regenerative medicine alternatives!

I found Dr. Jamie Lewis and his NW Center for Regenerative Medicine practice in early 2024. I was struggling after two knee replacements(KR) in 2003 and 2020 to continue my passion for hiking mountain trails. I am a retired General Surgeon in my early 70s & have hiked and backpacked in western US & Canada and in the Swiss Alps. The right KR initially relieved my pain but altered my gait. Starting in 2007, my left knee began to cause pain further altering my gait. I waited until 2020 to have a left KR but by then I had pains in my right calf and heel that limited my hikes to under 10 miles and about 3,000 feet of elevation. After a hiking vacation to Banff in the Rocky Mountains I returned with increased pain in my right heel and Achilles Tendon and was unable to hike. Diagnostic radiologic studies showed multiple linear tears in my lower right Achilles Tendon. I had spent 30 years as a Trauma Surgeon in medical schools and knew there are no good operations for this type of injury. My Orthopedic Surgeon sent me to Dr. Lewis for pain management control. I was aware that in his practice he was performing injections of stem cells(SC) taken from the bone marrow in one's pelvis followed two weeks later by injections of Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP) for osteoarthritis(DJD) in hip and knee joints, for rotator cuff injuries, and Achilles Tendon injuries. My Physical Therapist reported seeing examples of excellent results from these therapies in a few people in each category. Dr. Lewis has the longest history of using these treatments in Spokane with over 12 years of experience. He is a member of a group of US and international physicians who use a specific protocol, the Regenexx method, for harvesting SC, concentrating the number of SC into the smallest volume of fluid to maximize the number of SC that reach the injured areas, This group has collected their results which show that the majority of patients who have this standardized therapy get excellent long term pain relief and often delay joint replacement operations for years or avoid surgery altogether. As this group of physicians get more long term results from their patients more will be known about who is best served by this therapy and they will have the opportunity to improve their results. It is disappointing that medical insurance companies do not want to pay for these procedures yet. Both the Federal programs and the private insurance companies have budget restrictions and justify not paying because they claim there is not enough money in their budgets to add this therapy. As more long term data becomes available there will be more pressure to pay for results that are much cheaper than joint replacement operations. As of August 2024, I have had an excellent result and support from Dr. Lewis and his team. I have been able to progress from having little pain when walking on flat surfaces within 2 weeks of the treatment. I then slowly advanced to walking several miles on flat surfaces and adding elevated hikes as long as I could do that without pain. The therapy allowed me to work on correcting my gait which is now the most normal it has been in 10 years. At my forth month, I managed to hike up 1,400 feet of elevation in a 6 mile out and back hike. I have hiked up higher peaks this last 2 weeks in northern Idaho and have further plans to make tree line hikes around Mt Hood in mid September. I think this is an exciting new area of therapy. I wish it had been available when my DJD led me to my first knee replacement as I think I would have spent years walking with much less pain in my knees. I recommend Dr. Lewis and his staff as empathetic people who have wonderful personalities and the professional expertise to manager the above listed diseases.

I recently received a PRP injection from Dr. Lewis to address pain and limitations in my surgically repaired knee. Dr. Lewis took the time to thoroughly explain the PRP injection procedure, answering all of my questions with patience and expertise. His confidence and reassuring demeanor instilled a sense of trust, allowing me to feel comfortable throughout the treatment. Within about 8 weeks post-injection, I was back on my feet and actively engaging in the activities I love with greater than 80% relief. The PRP injection not only expedited my recovery but also significantly improved the way my knee feels. I currently have close to 100% relief of pain. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks to Dr. Lewis and his team, I am now able to fully enjoy my active lifestyle again, feeling great and with renewed confidence in the health of my knee. Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine delivers care with professionalism and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis and his team to anyone seeking greater function and pain relief!

Dr Lewis and his Regenexx team in Spokane were delightful during my 4 days there. I received stem cell and PRP treatments and my knee has been giving me exciting days since week 4.5. I have days when I feel remarkable improvements, and some with slight setbacks, but overall it's been a most positive trend. I'm at week 9 and enjoying very little pain and more stability, and I'm working on finding better balance again. I'm still a ways away from putting on a ski touring pack and heading up big slopes, but I trust I will keep on feeling more exciting new improvements. Thanks so much for all your great work!!

My husband is a firefighter, 49 years old, and has had shoulder pain for years. He had to have surgery, on his right shoulder which only temporarily took the pain away and involved 3 months of recovery, intense pain, and physical therapy. We were thinking he was going to have to have surgery on his left shoulder this time and on his right again; however, we heard of Regenexx (Dr. Lewis), so we thought we'd give that a try. My husband now has zero pain in his left shoulder and rarely feels pain in the right, which is still improving, so we are excited to see what the next year brings. He said his left shoulder feels like it did before he injured it and his right feels almost as good as new again. Previously he experienced pain 100% of the time in both. Regenexx has been a huge blessing in our lives! He is enjoying life again and feeling better than ever!

I wanted to take the time and set out my experience with Dr. Lewis and Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine. I first received PRP injections 12 years ago in Broomfield Colorado at the Centeno-Schultz Clinic where the Regenexx system was developed. One of My Doctors recommended Regenexx, as it had worked for him on his Left knee. Throughout out my life I have been extremely active, I played 30 years of competitive Handball, running, weight training, Biking, Kayaking, Judo. At 67 it caught up with me, My Doctors recommended surgery to repair the damage. I have had enough surgeries (ACL Left knee repair, Right Achilles Tendon Repair, Bi-lateral hernias, Steroid injections) and needed to find an alternative to months of down time and wanted to avoid post-surgical complications. The PRP and Stem Cell injections were successful at re-growing cartilage in my Left Shoulder, and eliminating my neck pain, dizziness, and balance problems. For two years I was symptom free, however age and activity caught up with me again. Four years ago, we moved to Coeur d Alene full time. It’s difficult and expensive to travel to Colorado for treatment. Centeno-Shultz has been training Doctors for several years with their advanced PRP and Stem Cell Treatments. I found Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine and Dr. Lewis 3 years ago in the Regenexx directory. Two and a half years ago I set up an appointment and had a detailed evaluation of my physical condition. Dr. Lewis performed PRP in my cervical and Lumbar spine. I was back to normal in about two months. However, nothing last forever. A lot of my problems returned. I went back to Dr. Lewis February 1, 2022 and had a second treatment. I am two weeks out and feeling much better. Starting my rehabilitation schedule next week. I completely recommend Dr. Lewis and the Staff at Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine, they are extremely component, professional and treat everyone with respect.

Knee replacement was the only choice I was offered- twice. That just was not the best choice for me personally. I did my research and chose to see if stem cell regeneration would work. I had very high hopes- and Dr Lewis and crew came through with flying colors. It’s just been two weeks since my procedure and I am very pleased with results. Hoping for continued improvement- but I’m walking, climbing stairs and have no pain. Eight week mark. I have finished six weeks of physical therapy. I’m calling this my own little miracle. Every day is better than yesterday and I know that progression will continue for months to come If you are having joint difficulty do yourself a favor and check out Regenerex before you let the surgeons replace your joint. It’s heavenly to be walking, climbing, squatting and exercising with no pain Special thanks to Dr Lewis, Johanna and crew.

Dr. Lewis and his well qualified Team At Northwest Center of Regenerative Medicine, were more than helpful and informative about each procedure that was going to be done to help my Right Knee. They went through each step that was going to take place. During each procedure the Team and Dr. Lewis asked calmly how I was and that really kept me very calm and relaxed. It has been 2 months since my procedure and I am really feeling very pain free and feel the great outcome each day. I can finally do things bending and walking up and downstairs that I have not been able to do in years. I recommend everyone go with this procedure regardless of age, It is so worth it.

Dr. Lewis and staff are so very kind, and the stem cell process and procedure worked like a charm for me! After a year and a half of not walking, not exercising, and not existing- I just dealt with doctors telling me my only hope was disc replacements or spinal fusions. I finally met with an orthopedic surgeon in Denver that led me to Dr. Lewis and the regenerative medicine he provides. I will never look back! Within DAYS of the procedure I was able to do things I hadn’t in years, and still find myself slowing down to make sure I’m giving myself healing time because I feel phenomenal ALL the time!!! Regenerative medicine is the future! Look into this before steroids, fusions, or something else synthetic! Absolutely adore this team!! Ps: my husband was injured in the Gulf war when he was in the Air Force and was in constant pain for decades. Dr. Lewis and his team has provided his ONLY constant relief and healing ❤️‍🩹!! We’re both looking forward to what our future looks like!

I have had a right knee and left hip replacement and am now using PRP injections in my left knee and right ankle to prevent any more surgery. After the injections, my joints feel amazing - much less pain and stiffness. The staff at Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine have been so helpful in giving me all the information I need to help heal my joints. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to stay active and not let arthritis dictate their lifestyle.

I will do what Dr Lewis said for the next 9 months, I will treat myself gently for the next year so as not to screw this treatment up. Dr Lewis & his team are professional, caring, kind...I will recommend Regenexx to anyone. I'm bringing my Aunt soon so get stem cells in her knee. Thank you SO much Regenexx!

Dr.Lewis & his staff are amazing!! Not being a candidate for surgery, nor wanting to have surgery done, I was introduced to Regenexx. I will admit that I was very nervous, that is , until I met Dr. Lewis & his staff. Greatly appreciated their caring & concern for me. I now have had 3 PRP procedures done on different body parts. I haven't missed a day of work either. This amazes me that a person can have PRP or Stem Cell therapy now instead of surgery. If you have been told you need surgery, please call Regenexx & talk to them about your options. I am 1 year out from my 1st procedure & my shoulder is doing great! No pain.

I had a partial tear in my bicep tendon and did not have time to recover from shoulder surgery, which is generally 4 months. I opted instead to have stem cell injections. Dr. Lewis and his staff were very professional and explained the procedure thoroughly. After 2 months, I am back to swimming a mile every other day and bicycling almost every day. I would highly recommend Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine to anyone who is a good candidate for this procedure.

Dr. Lewis has helped me get back to my active lifestyle! I was having so much pain in my lower back I was not able to garden or work on improvements to my property. At one point I could barely walk and in so much pain I had to be taken to ER for pain injections! I heard about Dr. Lewis from a co-worker and scheduled an appointment. Dr. Lewis evaluated my condition and recommended treatment. After the treatment he recommended (3 months ago) I am shoveling, fence building, moving bales of hay without even thinking about my back! NO PAIN! THANK YOU DR. LEWIS! I was so worried I would have to have surgery. That is no longer a worry!

Dr. Lewis and Amanda were always very professional and courteous. He did a thorough examination and made recommendations for the areas to receive platelet injections. The primary goals were my knees and neck with improvement in all those areas. I also had injections in one hip and shoulder but had minimal to no pain relief. However, am very grateful for some reduction in pain which is more than I an say for many other medical procedures I've had! Thank you Dr. Lewis and Amanda!

I am a 62 year old male patient that has been very active throughout my life. In the past several years I noticed an overwhelming increase in the pain I feel in my knees and shoulders. The pain in my knees, primarily my left knee, had gotten to the point where it was interfering with my day to day living, dramatically limiting me to what I could do. I had received some information on regenerative therapy and did some researching on my own. I contacted Northwest Center for Regenerative Therapy and set up an appointment to have a procedure on my left knee. On August 9, 2018 Dr. Lewis performed a PRP procedure on my left knee. It has been five months and I could not be happier, I not only am pain free but I have my life back. I'm hiking regularly and I work out at the gym almost daily. Thank you Dr. Lewis for giving me my life back it has been nothing short of miraculous. P.S I just recently had both my shoulders done and can't wait to see how they turn out.

I had my nine week follow up appointment today after having stem cell replacement therapy for my knee. I am so thankful for Dr Lewis, his awesome team, and this procedure! Prior to the stem cell therapy I could often barely walk. Today I am pain free, and my knee feels like it did 20 years ago! I can now sleep again at night without pain or discomfort which is HUGE, and am back in the outdoors again doing the things I love. So grateful to Northwest Center for Regenerative Medicine and their staff! I highly recommend them!
